King Calls on People to Vote

Phnom Penh: The King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, His Majesty Norodom Sihamoni, called on the people to go to the polls to elect the 7th National Assembly.

In a royal message signed on February 8, 2023, His Majesty King of the kingdom of Cambodia stated that the upcoming election on Sunday, July 23, 2023 will be a general election with Free, fair, justice and secret in accordance with the principles of liberal, multi-party democracy. Therefore, do not worry about oppression, threats or intimidation from any person or party.

"I would like to solemnly call on all Cambodians who have the right to vote to go to the polls and elect a national leader for the development and prosperity of all sectors," he added.

The King also asked all compatriots to exercise their right to vote according to their own conscience, who has confidence in any candidate, any political party freely.
